My 14yo son and I left rolls of toilet paper on our neighbors’ front steps. When I do have to go out, I thank everyone I see working for their service to our community. I’m donating the money that I’m saving on gas (since I am not driving to the office) to people who are out of work due to the pandemic. Every little bit adds up.
A lot of people find labels restricting. I can understand that, however, I have found a great deal of comfort in them. I've stayed home pretty much since the virus became a thing, helping to protect my household and others. Regarding essentials, we and a neighbor have checked in before grocery runs, and several times have picked up something for the other. We're all in this together!
As an introvert, I am trying to use this time at home to complete some long-delayed tasks to avoid the feeling of wasting my time. So far, so good!
During lockdown, I’ve been sewing and donating reusable masks for frontline workers. I’m painting portraits of healthcare workers to recognize the heroism and sacrifice of these individuals during the pandemic.

I have autoimmune small fiber-neuropathy. Every month I visit the hospital for infusions for 3 days, and every month I worry about being exposed to the virus.
