Labels limit the range of our conception to 'that which has existed', and therefore can restrict evolution of or within a system. Labels ascribed to individuals promote objectification, which can lead to possession, which can to slavery.

Labels can lead to self fulfilling prophecy. Just because people judge me based on gender, race, socio - economics, the music I listen to and/or how I choose to dress on a particular occasion - it doesn't mean "they" get to define me. I DEFINE ME. Always have and always will.

This is a fascinating project. I couldn't pass up the chance to add my voice to help raise the visibility of transgender people in our community.

On a recent visit to a customers home, we spoke for a bit about many things we had in common. We talked about setting a date for a future appointment, when she stated that she would never be able to remember that. I asked her why. She said she lost her balance and hit her head some months ago, and she just hasn't felt right since. I suggest that she call her doctor immediately, which she did. Her son took her to the doctor appointment, where she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She has since had an operation to remove the tumor. I'm glad I encouraged her to follow up.

I was nicely asked, and it sounded interesting.

Helped an elderly man change a flat tire on the side of the road the other day as others kept driving by. Work can wait.
